Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). Our favorite restaurant. Lisa our server was on top of things all during meal. Beth the GM stopped at our table, and Kim the AGM also greeted us. From the time we entered the restaurant(host stand) until the time we left, we were always in good hands, and then food was excellent as well. 5 stars

Had a great experience at Abuelos. I had a bad day and my husband took me out for dinner. The waitress, Abbie, was so sweet, made my day with the compliment she gave me. She was very attentive to our table. Definitely going back and asking for her again.

I always enjoy eating at Abuelo's. The three salsa's are delicious especially the Verde. I always get the enchiladas because of the variety of choices but tried the Chicken salad. It was so good! The seafood is good too. Good luck picking something!

The best Mexican restaurant in DFW. If you want good service and great food, come to Abuelo's. The shredded beef enchiladas are incredible, so tender and the flavor, so good. If you haven't tried them, you are missing out.

It was ok. I thought the prices were a little high for the quality of food. The shredded chicken burrito was average @$12.75. The salsa in the pic was good and I think my son hit the bail on the head when he said the green sauce is good at first but I can't love it because the sweetness of the pineapple kicks in at the end and makes you not like it as much. The waitress did a great job and that's important.

Food was delicious! My server Mason was the Best! He was fun, Very diligent and had a great attitude. My whole experience was incredible place was clean with a great vibe. Shout out to Lisa-(the manager on duty) was very kind as well.

We went there a few days ago and we are still talking about how good the food was. A definite add into the restaurant rotation. The chicken fajitas were seasoned very well and reheated/tasted very good the next day. It is a little more pricey than your run of the mill Mexican food restaurant but you certainly can taste the difference. Highly recommend.

This place was great and the food was AMAZING!! I just think we sat under the air conditioner so we were freezing!! We rushed through our food because of the cold. I can say that the service was was great and the food was even better. We enjoyed the leftovers more because we were comfy in our home. We will be back and maybe by then I will remember to take a pic of our food!

We are always seated quickly. Their table salsas could be better but the desserts definitely make up for it. Tortillas are made in house and their meat doesn’t feel too heavy. Staff is always friendly, restrooms are clean, and my cup is never empty. Overall a good experience.

A little pricier than some Mexican restaurants, but well worth the price. Great menu from steaks to fajitas to great enchiladas. Even have excellent prime rib occasionally. Can't go wrong there.

This was a great place to have dinner. I always say the quality and passion is in the details. The steak filet was cooked to perfection. The offering of a guacamole enchilada that was paired with the stuffed chicken medallions was genius. The salsa tropical was out of this world. Thank you for a relaxing evening with great food. Thank you to our server Nohe who knew just how to wait on us. I will definitely be back.

The food was fabulous. I had a beef burrito with chili con carne. Delicious! Our waiter, Brian, was super nice and efficient at his job. I have food allergies and he was very helpful. Plus the food came out quickly. Enjoy.

Decadent and delicious. There's no tiny table flag to raise when you want another enchilada, so please dress like your grandmother is going to judge you or at least like you're on a hopeful second date. Abuelo's is a restaurant for grown ups. Of course, well behaved children are welcome, but if you don't have those (not judging - had to leave my own with grandma on several occasions for the good of the general public), do yourself a favor - get someone else to take them for awhile and enjoy your meal.

The greeter walked us by several tables, set us out side on porch, not heated well, by a very loud kids party. I hope the food is better.

I ordered a lime margarita that seemed to not have much achohol in it..... added a shot.Nicer atmosphere than most Mexican restaurants. The server was really pleasant and the food was delicious.

Abuelo's is one of my favorite Mexican food chain restaurants. There is hardly an entree at this place that I have tried and not liked. My favorite is the one in the third photo: Mi Abuelo's Manjar, three stacked beef enchiladas with cheese and con carne, topped with two sunny side eggs. Excellent choice. If you go there, ask for Pierre. He is an awesome waiter.
